Experience
Mel has enjoyed various positions all which require focus, accuracy and attention to detail. From her beginnings as an Office Manager, she then worked as an Export Coordinator which is where she somehow discovered her love for bookkeeping.
She pursued an opportunity to transfer to the Accounts Department and over the years transitioned to Senior Bookkeeper, Financial Manager, Operations Manager and most recently, is one of the co-founders at We Do Change.
I have worked for and with some fantastic people along my journey; I have worked hard and been given opportunities to learn, up-skill, grow and find my niche. I’m super grateful for that.
Mel values humility, authenticity, honesty, connection, inclusion, a good laugh and a bit of fun! She is inspired by hiking, fynbos, sunshine, knitting, spending time with loved ones and by her joyful little pooch, Benjamin.
